Less than 5 by 35: Canada's Tobacco Endgame Initiative - Why, What, How


The initiator (Eisenhauer) and Co-chairs of the Steering Committee (Schwartz, Pipe) of Canada’s Tobacco Endgame Initiative will present on the development and future directions of Canada’s Tobacco Endgame Initiative. Participants will learn what is meant by Endgame and what interventions are being considered in Canada and abroad for decreasing the prevalence of tobacco use to less than five percent. They will become familiar with the process underway in Canada for promoting the adoption of Endgame goals and interventions. Discussion will highlight the potential role of public health in progressing the Endgame.
