Utilizing Media and Communications to Increase Quit Attempts

On February 9 and 10, 2016, the Program Training and Consultation Centre held its fourth provincial knowledge exchange forum for public health practitioners working in tobacco control. The forum focused on Utilizing Media and Communications to Increase Quit Attempts.

The agenda featured presentations by leading international and Canadian researchers and practice experts, as well as interactive sessions to discuss the evidence and program applications.

The forum was held in partnership with the Ontario Tobacco Research Unit, Propel Centre for Population Health Impact and Public Health Ontario, with funding support from the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care.
