  • Take Your Butt Outside
    Developed by the South West TCAN and area Public Health units, this initiative provides information about tobacco-free workplaces for employees and employers and includes resources for quitting smoking, information about identifying illegal cigarettes and a form for reporting questions or complaints regarding Smoke-Free Ontario Act compliance to a local public health unit.
  • Smoke-Free Living - Workplaces
    Created by Grey Bruce Public Health, this smoke-free workplace initiative provides health promotion information, resources and services on a variety of topics including smoke-free workplace policies and SFO legislation as well as making a business case for smoke-free workplaces.
  • No Butts About It
    These webpages house tools and resources for an evidence-based workplace health promotion program that is targeted towards young adult smokers in the retail industry.
  • Project Health (Region of Waterloo Public Health)
    Created by the Region of Waterloo Public Health, this initiative provides health promotion information and services on a variety of topics, including tobacco-free living to workplaces in the Waterloo region.
  • Quit the Smoke Break (Central East TCAN)
    Don’t Quit Quitting and Quit the Smoke Break are smoking cessation initiatives created by the Central East TCAN. Quit the Smoke Break was developed for blue collar workers and includes sample promotional materials on its website.
  • Would U Rather (Leave the Pack Behind)
    Wouldurather, a contest hosted by Leave the Pack Behind, encourages young adults (18-29) in Ontario and all post-secondary students to quit or reduce their tobacco use. Participants are eligible for various prizes and are offered free nicotine replacement therapy.
