Webinar: Smoking Cessation in Ontario: What the Ontario Tobacco Survey Tells Us

The Ontario Tobacco Survey (OTS) is an innovative Ontario Tobacco Research Unit survey that followed over 4000 smokers for up to 3 years. OTS data provide an in-depth understanding of current smoking in Ontario and a better understanding of the factors that influence quitting tobacco. Hosted by PTCC with presenters from the Ontario Tobacco Research Unit, this 90-minute webinar explores key issues related to smoking cessation in Ontario. Topics include: investigating cessation among young adults, examining how contraband tobacco impacts quit behaviours, and reporting on the effectiveness of NRT as a quit aid at the population level.
