 Play , Live, Be... Tobacco-free: A Guide for Developing Tobacco-free Sport and Recreation Policies and By-laws explains why tobacco-free sport and recreation is important and how to create, promote, and enforce tobacco-free policies within sport and recreation environments. This Guide works to:
- encourage community sport and recreation organizations and municipalities to adopt tobacco-free polices and smoke-free outdoor by-laws,
- help community sport and recreation organizations and their partners build productive relationships, and
- provide information and resources that will help make tobacco-free policies and programs easy to develop and implement successfully.
